//I am officially closing this account down. Nassor’s time here has run it’s course. But I’m keeping this account in tact so I, along with other people, can look back at everything that’s happened.
//I probably won’t. I’m just in pain right now and moody. Hooray!~
//I guess the au is dead? So I’m most likely going to shut down Nassor idk. We’ll see.
((I present you the hardest drawing I’ve ever had to draw. No story attached. We’ll get to that in time. I need a moment.))
//Wow…..just…..WOW! You’ve really outdone yourself this time Janice. I truly mean it from the bottom of my heart. This is absolutely amazing both artistically and in conveying a certain emotion. First of all, the colors. This may or may not have been intentional, but the background being so dark in comparison to them. It really makes them stand out more and to me it kind of makes it seem like they’re truly fighting because their colors are still there. They’re still shining, but at the same time, they seem a bit duller than normal. That may be because of their expression and posing, but I’ll get to that in a moment. The dirt may be another reason for them looking a bit dull. It’s covering them up quite a bit, meaning the color of it is muddying up their normal color pallet. And the vividness of Janice blood just makes the mood more uneasy because it’s one of the brightest part of the picture. Speaking of brightness, Janice’s ring also stands out. It’s surrounded by neutral colors, making it stand out, like it’s glowing and signaling how strong of a bond the couple has. And on a side note, the shading is ace! It’s absolutely amazing! It doesn’t look odd in the slightest. Now for the posing and composition. Man, you have a fantastic way of leading someone’s eye to places. Don’t know if you knew that or not, but you do. The red line on Nebel’s pants lead up to the yellow on his shoulder, which then leads the eye down his arm as well as Janice’s to the ring. Whether you meant for the ring to be important or not, but it definitely stands out to me. And with the posing, you can really tell how dire the situation is. Even though Janice is laying down completely, you can see her fighting and struggling against the pain because of the positioning of her arm. The rest of her body looks as if she’s given up, but that arm still tells us that she’s not out yet. With Nebel, that arm and hand is the key part to his posing. His arm still straight and pretty stiff, like his usual self, but his hand is wavering and loose-ish, desperately trying to keep his wife with him. Take away the heads and you can still vividly see what emotion you were trying to get across. That’s what an artist should do and you’ve always been amazing at that. And then there’s their faces…..oh God their faces! They intensify the mood. How much pain Janice is in and how terrified Nebel is. His pupils have contracted to an extremely small size, once again intensifying the desperation of the piece. Not to mention Nebel’s hair is ruffled and messy. That’s what hit me the hardest because he is a neat and tidy man. Now he, and Janice, are dirty, like how Tsarhania wants them to be. That’s how they think of the couple. And lastly……it shows exactly what you want it to. It shows how awful the situation is and what Tsarhania thinks of them. How the country wanted to control them, but since they rebelled, the country wants to destroy and torture them for it. It’s emotionally provoking, making it the best piece you’ve ever done. Especially since it doesn’t have the aid of a story with it like your Norvik picture, which was also an amazing piece! You have a perfect balance with all of the elements in this specific drawing. The colors work well together, the composition is very balanced in a way that doesn’t seem awkward, the posing is fantastic and strong and still tells the same story as their expressions, which are equally amazing! And they symbolism…..whether it was intentional or not, is meaningful and makes it mean even more. In short, it’s amazing and perfect and I love it. Of course I don’t love the content, but it’s a very personal piece and it’s done very well artistically. You’re really an amazingly talented woman, Janice. And you are definitely getting better and better with each piece you do. Every time you post a new piece, it never fails to impress me in a new way. I’m always awestruck by the amount of detail and how carefully it’s been handled. Keep doing what you’re doing! Because it is definitely working out for you! <3
((Ugh. Just finished this FINALLY. Just Nebel and Janice praying.))
|Anonymous: Nightmares, order, and accent.|
//Nightmares: Nassor gets nightmares quite a bit whenever he get sleep, which has been a rare occurrence until recently. His nightmares tend to involve him failing someone important to him or a loved one dying as he watches helplessly. Being a man who has made a vow to protect those he cares about, this weighs heavy on his mind, causing him to lose sleep for several days afterwards. The nightmares become more intense whenever he is depressed or furious and thinks about his troubles for too long.
Order: Nassor is a man who favors order. His room and work space is organized and is easily accessible. It’s something he prides himself in. At least he can organize his belongings, even if he can’t bring order into the situations in his life. Everything he does is nice and tidy too. He even straightens up after himself when he’s in someone else’s home. It’s almost become an OCD thing.
Accent: Nassor has the same accent as his movie counterpart, it’s just deeper since this version is older. His lisp is also less prominent since he was often teased about it. He’s worked very hard to lessen it when he talks.
